I made a campaign that celebrated how gamers see the world.
"Wherever You See The Game" celebrates the unique way gamers see the world through a lens shaped by play. Based on the insight that gamers constantly reimagine their surroundings with elements from games, we brought this hidden perspective to life by transforming real-world environments into playable landscapes. Through social content, NFC-enabled posters, and interactive billboards, we blurred the line between physical and digital.
We started with OOH that tapped into gamer's’ unique perspective, showing how their imagination has the ability to make life more exciting.
On social, we launched #seethegame to enable gamers to share where they see play in the real world, challenging others to find opportunities.
To propel their contribution, we created an online map of real-life locations of games to show gamers where they can see the game in real life, using the Xbox/Microsoft website as the host for continuity.
To celebrate Xbox gamers wherever they are, we made NFC poster to connect to our audience from afar. This seamless touchpoint meets gamers where they are, rewarding them with an free Xbox Game Pass exclusive for their participation in our gaming ecosystem
To drive home the idea that Xbox gamers can play everywhere, we made playable billboard to put them in the driver’s seat on the world stage.
